Last May 7–8, 2026, the team of Nephila Web Technology Inc. travelled to San Antonio, Zambales for its annual team-building. Amid the summer heat, it became a refreshing escape from daily routines — an opportunity to unwind, reconnect, and strengthen the camaraderie that binds the Nephila Web team together, promoting collaboration, trust, and work-life balance.
The first day's activities were facilitated by Ms. Vida Santos-Arciaga and the team from the Center for Research, Education, Solutions and Training (CREST), built around Bruce Tuckman's Five Stages of Team Development — Forming, Storming, Norming, Performing, and Adjourning. Each activity was designed to make the team more open, collaborative, strategic, and trusting.
Highlights
- The Cup Stacking Challenge — stacking cups using only rubber bands and strings, a simple game that powerfully demonstrated communication, planning, leadership, and synchronized effort.
- The Blanket Name Game — fast, funny rounds that helped everyone become more familiar and comfortable with one another.
- Sharing our most valuable possession — a heartfelt moment where each member shared the story behind a treasured item, deepening trust, empathy, and connection.
As the day closed, the team enjoyed an evening of bonding, a pool party, and dinner — capped by an awarding ceremony, games, prizes, and messages of commitment. In celebration of Nephila Web's 15 years of shared success, the event was a reminder of the journey and the collective achievements behind it.
The next day brought island-hopping around the beautiful islands of Zambales — moments of relaxation and discovery surrounded by pristine beaches. The Nephila Weavers Team Building 2026 was more than an outing: it was a celebration of unity, collaboration, friendship, and the enduring spirit of the team.
